Here is another great design. This time your whole kitchen fits in the cupboards.
Marcello Zuffo, a senior designer with Motorola’s Consumer Experience Design Group, entered the 2008 Electrolux/Interior Design Magazine competition for innovative kitchen design and took the Grand Prize with this design: an ultramodern kitchen with multiple movable components.
For the release of the new Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami “Multicolor Spring Pallet” product, the artist has also left his footprint in the LV stores inerior. Here we show you some images of the Louis Vuitton Omotesando store, which now features Murakami flower wallpaper and also showcases a multitude of Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami plush characters throughout the store.
Eight different versions of the 100% size are available including various camo coordinations such as red, orange, pink, yellow, navy blue, purple, blue and a multi-camo version.

Sick! Pierre Hardy comes out with a new Sneaker called Perspective Cubes and is set to 500 couples. Snakersen will be sold at the Pierre Hardy store in Paris, Dover Street Market in London, Barney in New York, 10 Corso Como in Milan and other selected stores.
the Rolex-inspired Bapex takes on another interesting characteristic in the release of this season’s Bapex Clear. The Clear version is somewhat similar to another Rolex-inspired brand in Toy Watch who has often been marked by the same aesthetics as the Rolex albeit in plastic form.
Damien Hirst has worked with several brands, including Supreme and Levi’s. The latest collaborative project was done together with Harley Davidson. The artist gave a Cross Bone and matching helmet the look of his famous spin paintings.

Subprime by Mike Winkelmann—aka Beeple—is a music video, 3D animation exercise and spectacular visual commentary on America's socioeconomic situation all in one.
The two-and-a-half-minute animated video is a reflection on the current economic crisis in America, visually represented by the housing market and its escalating trajectory over the last decade or so. "The video was meant to illustrate the cyclical nature of the economy," explains Winkelmann, "which at its root is fueled by an insatiable push for 'more, bigger, better,' until it becomes no longer sustainable, and the bubble bursts—as we have recently seen."
The project, which Winkelmann created on Cinema 4D, is his first 3D animated film and took five months to complete. "It was a technical challenge for me," he says. To match his awesome visuals, he enlisted the Minneapolis-based band Nobot to produce the video's digitally-pronounced background music and sound effects.
Winkelmann's work has been featured at various film fests, including Massachusetts College of Arts' upcoming Dead/Live Video Festival.
The New Museum presents The Generational: Younger Than Jesus, an exhibition representing fifty international artists who were all born around 1980. Underpinning the exhibition theme is the idea that artist make firm gestures in the early stages of their artistic development. The exhibition gives insight into how this generation of artists experienced and reinterpreted, through their art work, personal and world events that occured during their lifetime so far. Within that reinterpretation, issues of memory , and cross-cultural and cross-generational communication arise. Addressing these issues through questions of technology, identity, collaboration and family uncovers an intimacy in the work that is not obvious at first. Taking up a large part of the museum (the lobby, second floor, third floor, fourth floor and fifth floor), the exhibition will run through 5 July 2009.

I have been meaning to write about this one for a while now. If you’re on a mac(intel) and watch most of your entertainment online, you will love this application (as most do, they have over 500,000 users so far). Boxee is like a set top system that allows you to watch and listen to everything on your media library and !! it lets you access many streaming sites and networks. Like HULU, CNN, Pandora, MTV, Joost all through a “Front Row” experience but better. I have to tell you once you start down this word everything changes.
Oh I almost forgot, it also allows you to share with other “Boxee” users what you’ve watched (be careful) recommendations, and it also lets you vote shows up or down. I cannot stop praising this one. It also works with the apple remote, so you can sit on your ass and browse. Now if it only allowed me to buy the episodes off HBO and Showtime…. I would never need cable again….

The S600 sports a 5-inch display, support for a whole slew of formats and support for HD output.
Other specs include an IR remote, FM radio, digital photo frame and ebook functionality and voice recording. Audio formats include MP3, WAV, WAV and lossless APE and FLAC. Not bad for something just 10mm with minimal screen bezel. No word on pricing, and we wouldn’t hold our breath regarding a US release for the SAHPR S600 PMP.

Its features and specs look like they were written in Danish and the mixer looks like it was pulled from an alien spacecraft. It has an ultra (ULTRA) white reflective projection surface. Oh, and it’s built into a Baby Grand Piano. Gorgeous and intimidating, I’d be afraid to get my fingers anywhere near it (without scrubbing them with bleach first). The 12-inch subwoofer, hydraulic legs and lid and neon details puts it out of your price range.
Designer, Giuliano Fujiwara, returns this Milan Design Week with their latest collection of home furnishings entitled, Wabi-Sabi. “The collection concept is Wabi-Sabi, the beauty of imperfection, led by the brand’s creative director Masataka Matsumura. His work is on the concept of dominoes, geometric with an inlay like a leitmotiv that links one piece to the other. Some of the most representative pieces designed by Masataka Matsumura will be displayed exclusively from April 22 - 27th at the Giuliano Fujiwara flagship store on Via Borgospesso, 11.

Showcasing the design process for his Inochi concept, Takashi Murakami held a showcase last night which revolved around his robotic figure, Inochi. Held at the Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo, the show was an amazing display of just how comprehensive Murakami’s exhibitions can be. Showcasing his creative prowess and marketing genius, Murakami previewed ads, videos, and artwork, all revolving around his latest work. Aside from the show, Takashi had a run of Inochi figures, hand signed with only 200 produced, halted due to quality control, although the Medicom produced sets could see a release in June 2009 with a price tag of $1,500 a pop.
This second release includes their usual array of graphic tees, waffle referenced denim and accessories, all-over print multi-pocket cargo pants, and a graphic tank top. All are now available at BBC/Ice Cream Flagship locations.
