Sausage in a baby bottle
7 7/8 x 2 inches (20 x 5 cm)
Glass, sausage and alcohol
Edition of 35 + 5 APs
Glass bottle engraved with the edition number, Hirst logo and signature
"A glass baby's bottle containing a pork sausage pickled in alcohol makes foul, connotative paradoxes out of ideas of nourishment and nurture. Visually, the work is a reminder of Hirst's formaldehyde pieces as well as the surreal performances of pantomime and Punch & Judy shows. It is at once humorous and disturbing."

This is a brilliant design by Constance Guisset
“DUPLEX is an aquarium/cage favoring an improbable encounter between a bird and a fish. The aquarium is thermoformed so as to create a space where the bird can fly at the same visual level as the fish. A surprising encounter that evokes the impossible fusion between the air and the waterworld.”
