Seth MacFarlane's performance at the BBC PROMS

If like me you were lucky enough to stumble across Seth MacFarlane's performance at the BBC PROMS this last weekend you were treated to a healthy does of his supreme awesomeness. God knows who was brave enough to suggest the Family Guy creator as a guest singer at the traditionally stuffy BBC event, but he was the perfect choice for it.

This show, live from the Royal Albert Hall, celebrated the era of MGM muscials with tracks from old hits such as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, High Society, On the Town, Singing in the Rain etc and Seth smoothly crooned through about 6 songs backed by one hell of an orchestra, and was easily the highlight of the concert.

If you're in the UK you can catch the show on the BBC iPlayer here. But if you're elsewhere i think you'll just have to make do with YouTube clips or keep an eye open on the BBC channel over there!
