Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ is one of those pivotal songs from the 80s that becomes something new to each generation. There was even a cheezy dance mix in the 90s. Shudder. Well, the latest generation of Eclipse afficionados got a lot more clever with their spin, creating a literal translation of the ultra bizarre video (as was the way in early MTV days) of this rock ballad classic. The girl dubbing it is actually not bad, considering she totally gambled on matching up to Tyler’s powerhouse belting. Watch it once, and you’ll be singing, ‘Over-Surpised Guy’ all day. This music video was shot for Sour's 'Hibi no Neiro' (Tone of everyday) from their first mini album 'Water Flavor EP'. The cast were selected from the actual Sour fan base, from many countries around the world. Each person and scene was filmed purely via webcam.

Department of Eagles- newest

Chunnel.tv now has an exclusive look of Department of Eagle’s new video for “No One Does it like You.” Premiering at the MoMa as part of the museum’s ongoing PopRally series, the video was co-directed by Patrick Daughters and the artist Marcel Dzama.

The video was shot entirely on green screen over the course of several months actually only features six dancers who were then replicated into the army you see here.

A-Ha's Take On Me, The Literal Version

A-Ha's Take on Me music video still remains one of the best ever made. It was an instrumental influence of mine, helping to push me into a career in animation and eventually into animation for music video's. And, in late celebration, somebody went and made a literal translation of it, complete with subtitles. Awesome.
