Star Wars Uncut

Seeking help to remake the sci-fi classic "Star Wars: A New Hope," tech-geek Casey Pugh's project uses Vimeo as a crowd-sourcing tool to engage filmmakers in a "Be Kind Rewind"-style DIY production. He divided up the entire movie into 15-second clips, tasking participants with download three sections for re-filming. When all 472 clips are complete, Pugh will stitch them back together to create the feature-length movie. We suspect that the end result will be amazingly hilarious.

Joy Division 2007 Film

Pitchfork.tv has posted the excellent Joy Division documentary directed by Grant Gee for one week only. You can stream the first part above, but if you want to watch the film in it’s entirety head over to Pitchfork.tv and it will continue onto Part 2. The documentary takes a really interesting look into the music scene and the physical environment that helped shaped one of the most innovative and influential post-punk bands.

Gruesome body parts greet customers of a bakery in Ratchaburi, Thailand. Artist and baker Kittiwat Unarrom has sculpted life-like heads, feet and hands from dough in the bakery's kitchen and exhibits them in glass cabinets in the shop. He says his edible art lures one hundred visitors a day.
